Message	Hey... my names Mo and ive been surfin these boards for a longgggggg time close to 3 yrs now ... always have been wanting a 300zx. and now i finally got some money to afford one. I have about 6000 cash, i was wondering would it be a good idea to purchase this 1993 300zx TT with mildy high mileage,~150k, a very nice interior and very nice exterior , bad thing is its AUTO and i want a 5spd *** also just informed it has waterdamage, from pictures it looks clean, no visual signs of water damage at all.. For about $2000-$3000, and swap a "new" motor from venus auto or nyx. My dad owns a junkyard so labor wouldnt be a cost, or just a very small charge. and since i live in georgia take it to z1 to do the auto to manual swap for 2000 i think. So my total costs would be about.. $2000-$3000 - Car $1300 - Motor $2700-$1700 - Saved for maintence if needed and extra parts _______ = $6000 I also called up z1 and they said 3500 for the 5spd swap... im just thinking i can have my dads mechanics do that for me .. z1 said their kit for it is 1750 .. can someone tell me if this swap is extremely complicated or could a mechanic who does tranny and motor installs all day long be able to handle it.? im sorry if its a little confusing, not in the right state of mind right now and im tired.. give me your opinions on my plan..
